DESCRIPTION

We are surrounded almost daily by ethical dilemmas in our professional lives. We may feel uncertain
or even powerless at times when facing these issues. This workshop will provide an opportunity for
practitioners to revisit the definition of ethics, ethical practice, and ethical decision making. The role
of values in ethics will also be explored.

Training Objectives:

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Define ethics in a professional manner using the NASW Code of Ethics.
2. Identify the role of ethics and values in practice.
3. Understand ethical decision making.
4. Practice and implement knowledge of ethical practice through the use of case study.
This dynamic, interactive program will include individual and small group activities and discussions.
