Monica S. Gocial, LCSW, LLC 2.5 CEU’s

September 15, 2020, 9:30 to 12:00

A live interactive training using the Zoom Pro platform

DESCRIPTION

Professionals today are faced with more pressure than ever before, including finding the “right balance” in life. This was hard before. Now that we are in the midst of a global pandemic, this idea of balance has taken on a whole new meaning and challenge as we collectively re- assess what skills we now need moving forward. Being forced into quickly adapting to work/parenting/family life, all at the same time from our homes has been exhausting. Those on the front lines grappling with the added stress of health and safety concerns have left many feeling totally overwhelmed. People are reporting incredibly high levels of stress and anxiety unlike they have ever experienced before as we tackle our differing roles during these uncertain and challenging times. Participants will learn new skills to address these challenges, cope more effectively with change and our changing roles, and identify ways to find more motivation to create a better sense of balance in their lives.

Training Objectives:

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify a practical approach to balance in our new reality of living through a global pandemic.
  2. Understand how an honest self-assessment is the path to identify goals and achieve a greater sense of balance.
  3. Better cope with change: reacting, responding and re-framing.
  4. Explore relationships and communication, and their impact.
  5.  Assess current, and identify new problem solving and stress management tools.
  6.  Learn how to move forward and find motivation.
