This training is designed for human services supervisors who wish to further develop their skills and better understand their own styles of supervision. Methods to assist supervisees to improve their skills will be discussed. The workshop will include discussions and role plays illustrating issues in supervision.
∙ Be able to explain the phases and functions of supervision
· Identify their own supervision style and learn strategies to assess the learning style of supervisees
· Demonstrate awareness of the developmental trajectory of the supervisee
· Differentiate the role of the supervisor from that of a colleague as it relates to gatekeeping
· Describe at least three ways to remediate skills deficits in supervisees
· Understand cultural bias and related implications in supervision

About the Speaker:
Denise R. Wolf, ATR-BC, ATCS, LPC, LPAT is an Associate Clinical Professor at Drexel University in the graduate Art Therapy and Counseling Program. She is owner and practitioner/therapist of Mangata Services. Denise is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Art Therapist, as well as a Registered, Board Certified and an Art Therapy Certified Supervisor through the Art Therapy Credentials Board. For over 20 years, Denise has been practicing as a therapist treating adolescents and adults with histories of complex interpersonal trauma. She works as a consultant for many Philadelphia organizations including The Philadelphia Art Museum providing clinical supervision and programming related to trauma- sensitive care across settings.
Denise has presented at city, state, national and international conferences in the areas of trauma informed care, trauma and neurobiology, pedagogy, and clinical supervision. She has several articles published in peer reviewed journals and has contributed chapters to seminal texts on her clinical work.
Procedure: After registration, you will be sent a confirmation, and a receipt of payment. A few days before the training you will receive a email containing instructions for logging on to the Zoom session, handouts, and the requirements for your certificate and CEU’s (if applicable)

If you have paid the fee, you will receive a refund or credit (your choice). If you fail to cancel prior to five business days and have paid, you or your agency will forfeit the fee.
